Public Accountant from Universidad Surcolombiana, with a specialization in International Financial Accounting from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, where he was honored with the Javeriano Academic Merit Award. Certified in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) and in International Financial Reporting Presentation by the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
He has extensive experience implementing international standards (full and SME IFRS) in both private companies and public entities under Colombia’s new accounting framework. He is also a university lecturer and speaker on accounting and international financial reporting topics.
Currently serves as member and acting president of the IFRS Expert Committee of the Technical Council of Public Accounting (CTCP) in Colombia.
