Public Accountant from Central University (1990), specialized as Statutory Auditor at the Nueva Granada Military University (October 17th, 2008) and in Detection and Asset Laundering at the Sabana University (1997). Certified in International Accounting Standards at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University, 2006.
She received training in financial and operational auditing in Grant Thornton and Ernst & Young and in audit planning and software management in Gran Thornton Miami (August 1998). Participated at the actualization in Horizon focus and methodology from Grant Thornton in Panama (September, 2007) and recently participated in trainings at local level.
She was hired by Gran Thornton Ulloa Garzón since 1991 and was promoted in 2006 to Audit ́s Partner. Previously she worked in Ernst & Young between 1987 and 1990. Currently, she participates as instructor audit in Gran Thornton Fast.
She has broad experience in the audit department as partner in charge of clients like: Soletanche Bachy Cimas, Gomez Cajiao S.A, Petrotiger Testing Services Colombia LTDA – PTS, Nexsys de Colombia S.A, Inelectra Colombia S.A.S, Inelectra SACA Suc Colombia, Cinemark Colombia SAS, Autogermana S.A., among others.
Acted as Statutory Auditor of clients in the financial sector such as: Helm Corredor de Seguros S.A., Corporación Autoregulador del Mercado de Valores – AMV, Ultrabursátiles S.A. – Comisionista de Bolsa, Cámara de Riesgo Central de Contraparte S.A., Macrofinanciera S.A. y Corredores Asociados S.A. - Comisionista de Bolsa, among others.
Furthermore, she has conducted external audits of the projects developed with resources from donations or subsidies of the United States Agency for International Development – USAID, European Community, Social Action and other Agencies of International Aid.
